After arranging a project carefully, you may want future projects to begin the same way. Save Template stores the presentation choices so you do not have to repeat them for every new project in that Program.
What Save Template keeps
- Visible field names
- Compact and Full choices
- Details Panel choices
- Added project fields
- Deleted optional fields
- Column order and other saved table presentation settings
What it does not copy
- Findings or evidence
- The project name or description
- Client scope and due dates
- WCAG version or level
- ASVS, MASVS, AISVS, SOC 2, or Custom Library project choices
- Another Program's field meanings
Save the current setup
- Open Edit Table and choose Fields and visibility.
- Finish the field names, visibility, and Details Panel choices.
- Choose Save Template at the bottom of the panel.
- Wait for the confirmation message.
- Create a test project in the same Program and confirm the starting layout.
Restore Defaults
Restore Defaults returns the current project to the Program's normal field setup. For imported projects, source-only information is preserved where required. Restore only when you are comfortable replacing the current project's presentation changes.
Create one project with the same setup
Use Create a project with this table setup when you want one new project to reuse the current layout without changing your saved template. The normal New Project form still asks for the new name, Library, scope, and Program-specific choices.
