The finding drawer is where people read, edit, discuss, and validate one finding. A clear drawer puts everyday information first and keeps occasional information available without making the record feel crowded.
The three detail areas
- View Details is the first accordion. It should contain the fields people need most often.
- View More Details is the second accordion. It holds other normal project fields.
- Additional Details appears for unmatched imported columns and preserves their source information.
The starting arrangement
New projects start with the essential working fields in View Details. These include Status, Severity, Assignee, the applicable requirement or checkpoint, Description, Affected Elements where available, Remediation, and Page URL where available. Other visible fields begin in View More Details.
Move a field between the accordions
- Open Edit Table and choose Fields and visibility.
- Find the field you want to move.
- Check Details Panel to place it in View Details.
- Uncheck Details Panel to place it in View More Details.
- Open a finding and confirm the field is in the expected accordion.
Change the order
- Open a finding and choose Edit.
- Choose Rearrange Panels & Fields.
- Use the up and down buttons for precise keyboard-friendly movement, or drag an item with a pointer.
- Fields move only inside their current accordion. Use the Details Panel checkbox when a field belongs in the other accordion.
- Choose Finish Rearranging when the order is right.
You can also rearrange the larger drawer panels, including the detail accordions, Additional Details when present, Attachments, Comments, History, and Validation Panel. Validation starts after History, but your saved order may place it elsewhere.
